For all Final Year:

Starts on 15TH OF FEBRUARY 2016

ENDS ON 28TH OF FEBRUARY 2016

You are welcome to the University of Ibadan, the Premier University in Nigeria. I want to congratulate you on your admission into the 'First and Best' University.
Please note that you will not be allowed to matriculate and therefore become a bona-fide student of this University, if you do not complete all the stipulated registration processes.
NOTICE FOR 2014/2015 SESSION

INSTRUCTIONS ON SCHOOL FEES PAYMENT
Please strictly follow the instructions below:

  1. Students should view their Payment Advice
  2. Students must firstly login to the portal with matric number and password
  3. Students must copy their REFERENCE NUMBER
  4. Students must Print their RRR.no from the portal
  5. Payments made contrary to instructions will be refunded only at 15% Surcharge
  6. Payments of Fees should be made From 8TH FEBRUARY,2016 to 15TH APRIL, 2016
  7. Late Payment of Fees attract N5,000

BEFORE YOU PAY KINDLY ENSURE THAT YOU HAVE APPLIED AND HAVE BEEN ASSIGNED A ROOM & A BED SPACE.

ENSURE ALSO THAT YOU HAVE A PRINTOUT COPY OF THE HALL AUTHORITY TO PAY

YOU ARE TO MAKE PAYMENTS ONLINE DIRECTLY AFTER VIEWING THE HALL AUTHORITY TO PAY

FEES PAYMENT PROCEEDURE FOR FOR 2015/2016

step 1 1. Student visits the portal and views the payment advice to confirm his/her details like: (names, level, fee type and amount)

step 2 2. Student then must first login using Matric Number and password
step 3 Student clicks on "Pay Your Fees" and selects fee-type option e.g (school fees, accommodation, bundle fees, GES etc)


step 4 REMITA Gateway opens PLEASE COPY the REFERENCE NUMBER GENERATED by the portal) it is advised to copy this
step 5 Proceed to Gateway
step 6 6. A Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) will be generated and you will be taken to the Remita Payment Selection page seen below. The Options provided for payment are as follows
  • Pay Now with Internet Banking -This enables payment direct from your account login if your bank offers internet banking and you have login credentials)
  • Pay at a Bank Branch - With the generated RRR you can walk into any bank and make payment and it will reflect on our portal account
  • Pay Now with Cards or Wallet - This enables payment with your ATM Card or Paga if you have a wallet with them
  • Pay Now with Remita - This enables payment if you are registered on the Remita Platform
step 7 After making payment via any of the above listed methods you can now return to the University Portal (portal.ui.edu.ng) and update your personal data before doing your course registration.
